Aaron Carreras

Aaron Carreras is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Security Engineering Manager for Cloud Security at Google since November 2022, Carreras previously held significant roles at Mandiant, including Director and Senior Manager for FLARE's Offensive Task Force, where responsibilities included leading security assessments and developing custom red team toolkits. As a Principal at GRIMM, Carreras managed personnel, contracts, and budgets to provide cybersecurity solutions to both the United States Government and commercial clients. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Director at RingØ Technologies and various technical consultant roles, with foundational experience as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Carreras holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Nicholls State University.
