Abongile Mashele

Abongile Mashele is currently the Senior Manager of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Google in South Africa. With extensive experience in strategic planning, public policy, and research, Abongile has previously held notable positions, including Chief Operating Officer and Manager of Research, Policy, and Advocacy at the Film and Publication Board. They also served as Deputy Director of Parliamentary Liaison at the National Youth Commission and as a Broadcasting Policy Researcher at ICASA. Abongile holds a Bachelor's Degree in Governance and Political Studies from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor's Degree in Public and Development Management from the University of the Witwatersrand.
