Adam Goode

Site Reliability Engineer

Adam Goode possesses extensive experience in research programming and site reliability engineering. At Carnegie Mellon University from August 2001 to May 2006, Adam contributed to a large internal machine learning codebase focused on behavioral drug discovery, provided support for refactoring the system into libraries, and rebuilt the Auton Lab website. As a Project Scientist, Adam developed the original versions of OpenSlide, a system for digital pathology images. Since September 2010, Adam has been a Site Reliability Engineer at Google, working across various teams including shopping, payments, and ads, while also serving as a tech lead and managing for three years. Adam holds a BS in Computer Science and Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MHCI in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University.
