Ajay Dudani has extensive experience in the software engineering field, particularly in machine learning and speech technologies. Currently at Google since January 2016, Ajay leads efforts in speech model integration and on-device speech recognition for Google Assistant, while also managing the Pixel battery life team to optimize device performance. Prior to Google, Ajay served as Director of Engineering at Qualcomm, overseeing cross-functional engineering teams and contributing to the successful scaling of the Android platform. Ajay's career also includes roles as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, as well as a Software Engineer at Allied Telesis, with early experience as an Engineering Intern at Motorola. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree from Nirma University.
