Akash Mutha is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in distributed computing and team leadership. Akash began a career in software development as a research intern at TU Ilmenau, focusing on applications for stochastic modeling. Following this, Akash held various roles, including SDE 2 at Ola, where leadership of a backend team on Partner Engagement was accomplished, and SDE 2 at Amazon. While at Microsoft, Akash served as a senior software engineer and technical lead, focusing on scaling Apache Tez's scheduler for large workloads. Currently, Akash is a senior software engineer at Google, where further expertise in software development is being applied. Akash holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Malaviya National Institute of Technology.
