Akash Phadnis

Akash Phadnis has extensive experience in both academic and industry settings, beginning as a Summer Intern at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in 2009. Following this, Akash served as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from May 2010 to July 2011, before progressing to a Graduate Research Assistant role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2011 to August 2013. Akash then joined McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst from September 2013 to June 2015. In 2017, Akash commenced a position at Google, where roles included Strategy and Operations Manager for Channel Sales and later, Product Strategy & Operations Principal for Cloud AI & AI/ML Developer. As of August 2024, Akash takes on the role of Head of Program Strategy & Operations for Channel Partner and also serves as Business Analyst & Chief of Staff. Akash holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Dual Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech + M.Tech) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, alongside participation in a Study Abroad Program at Purdue University.
