Alan Cheng

Alan Cheng is an experienced professional in network engineering and management, with a solid background in technical roles. Alan served as Technical Manager at Vetas Technologies Ltd from January 2013 to May 2016, and subsequently held positions at Google starting as a Senior Networking Engineer in Network Design and Network Engineer from May 2021 to April 2022. Currently, since March 2022, Alan works as a Technical Program Manager focusing on network planning and acquisitions at Google. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Services Engineer at Huawei Technologies from January 2009 to January 2013. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology with First Class Honors and a Master’s Degree in Optics/Optical Sciences, both obtained from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
