Alan Gordon

Alan Gordon is a Staff Data Scientist at Google, where they work as a Tech Lead and Manager focused on enhancing Google Search through research, experimentation, and measurement. Previously, they served as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia from 2006 to 2007, studying the neurobiology of human attention and reasoning. Alan completed a Ph.D. in Psychology with a Neuroscience Track at Stanford University between 2008 and 2014, where they investigated the neural mechanisms supporting human learning, memory, and attention, while also developing software for analyzing large-scale brain data using machine learning techniques.
