Alan Jin is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in developing high-performance database systems. At Microsoft, from September 2020 to September 2021, Alan held the position of Senior Software Engineer, where responsibilities included building a low latency scale-out storage service for Azure SQL hyperscale database and enhancing the high availability and disaster recovery (HADR) systems for both Azure SQL Database and Microsoft SQL Server, achieving a 99.99% availability SLA.
