Alan Weadick has extensive experience in network consulting and engineering, beginning with positions as a Senior Network Engineer at Telindus in 2000 and a Senior Network Consultant at Cara Data Processing from 1997 to 2005. Following the acquisition of Cara Group by BT in 2005, Alan continued as a Senior Network Consultant at BT until 2007. Afterwards, Alan served as Head of Networks & Voice at Smart Telecom and Digiweb before taking on the role of Manager of Network Engineering at Google from 2012 to 2018. Alan holds a degree in Computer Systems from the University of Limerick, and is a certified Cisco CCIE with a specialization in Routing & Switching.
