Alan X.

Alan X. has a diverse experience in software engineering and research, beginning with an internship at the Information Trust Institute in 2012, where keyword analysis within queries was the focus. Following this, Alan X. interned at IBM as an Extreme Blue Intern in 2013, working on integrating biographic and biometric data and contributing to project designs. Currently, Alan X. is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where responsibilities include refactoring and migrating Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) code to a microservice architecture and developing NodeJS packages compliant with Open ID Connect protocols. Notable achievements include creating open-source tools that significantly expanded user access and reduced operational issues. Alan X. holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and previously attended Greenwich High School and Taipei American School.
