Alec Eickbusch

Alec Eickbusch has a strong academic and research background in engineering physics, electrical engineering, and physics, holding a PhD from Yale University. Experience includes internships at Xilinx and Centaur Technology focusing on communications simulation and x86 design verification, respectively. At The University of Texas at Austin, Alec served as a teaching assistant and research assistant in materials science, followed by a role as a graduate researcher at Yale University, concentrating on experimental quantum error correction under Dr. Michel Devoret. Currently, Alec works as a research scientist at Google after serving as an external consultant at Nord Quantique. Academic achievements include dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics, as well as a Master's in Applied Physics, all with distinction.
