Alec Shnapir is an experienced engineering professional with a solid background in storage systems and cloud solutions. Beginning a career as a Hardware Systems Engineer at Comverse from 2000 to 2004, Alec focused on developing technical concepts and system-level integration. Progressing to roles such as Solutions/Systems Engineer and Team Lead within the same company, responsibilities included leading EMC storage systems projects and evaluating market storage solutions. Following a tenure at Elastifile (acquired by Google) from 2015 to 2019 as a Senior Storage Performance and Applications Engineer, where Alec developed performance testing and assisted with customer evaluations, Alec transitioned to Google and has held several positions, culminating in the role of Principal Cloud Solutions Architect. Alec holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
