Alec Short

Alec Short is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the technology and analytics sectors. Alec began a career in equity research at JMP Group LLC, followed by contributions as a Business Development Representative at AppDynamics, which was later acquired by Cisco. Subsequent roles included Enterprise Account Executive positions at Optimizely and Looker, the latter of which was acquired by Google for $2.6 billion. Alec served as Director of Enterprise Sales at Leanplum, leading a team in New York City. After a tenure at Google from 2020 to 2022 focusing on data analytics, Alec currently leads a team of Business Intelligence Sales Specialists at Google, covering enterprise customers across multiple regions. Alec holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and has further education in Corporate Finance and Debt Markets from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
