Alessio Mereta

Alessio Mereta is a software engineer currently working at Google in the YouTube Trust & Safety team since April 2018, following roles that included an intern position at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, where deep learning algorithms for speech recognition were developed, and a young graduate trainee role with the ESA Advanced Concepts Team, focusing on artificial intelligence for space. Alessio holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova, where both the Bachelor's and Master's programs were completed with high distinction. Additionally, Alessio was awarded a scholarship for an excellence program during the Master's studies at Istituto Superiore di Studi in Tecnologie dell’Informazione e della Comunicazione.
