Alex Hobson is the Director of External Communications for the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), where they have served since 2015, acting as a spokesperson for the solar industry and overseeing media relations. Previously, Alex worked as a broadcast journalist for several television stations across Florida from 2006 to 2015, honing skills in story pitching and strategic media engagement. At SEIA, Alex continues to produce videos showcasing solar energy's success and trains colleagues on media best practices. Alex currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication - News from the University of Florida.
