Alex Lu

Alex Lu is a skilled professional with experience in both education and software engineering. As the co-founder and organizer of PF Debate Austin from May 2018 to July 2020, Alex developed a curriculum and managed logistics for a nonprofit summer camp focused on teaching debate to middle and high school students. Subsequently, Alex worked as an elementary school tutor at ACES Academic Enrichment Center in June 2021, teaching math and English to younger students. In software engineering, Alex has held internships at Samsung Austin R&D Center and Yext, where skills in C++, Python, and abstract syntax tree development were applied. Currently, Alex serves as a software engineer at Google. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a high school diploma from Westwood High School.
