Alex Walden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human rights and legal advisory roles. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Global Network Initiative since May 2015, Walden has also held the position of Global Head of Human Rights at Google since May 2019. In addition, Walden contributes as a Technology Advisory Board Member for the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court since March 2016 and serves as a Corporate Leader at the Council on Foreign Relations since December 2018. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and participation in the Women's Law & Public Policy Fellowship Program at Georgetown University Law Center. Walden also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University.
