Ali Asgher is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and entrepreneurial ventures. Beginning as a Research Assistant at Lahore University of Management Sciences from August 2016 to May 2018, Ali later served as a Developer Intern at the Technology for People's Initiative. Following this, Ali gained practical experience as a Software Engineer Intern at the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, before obtaining a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at the University of Iowa from August 2018 to May 2020. From July 2020 to June 2022, Ali worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services, contributing significantly to transactional services. Currently, Ali is a Software Engineer at Google, focusing on GCP Identity and Access Management, while also simultaneously running CarbonCede, an AI-powered emissions management platform since November 2024. Ali holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, earned in 2018.
