Alison Carroll has extensive experience in communications and marketing, particularly within technology and media sectors. As the Executive and External Comms Lead for Google Quantum AI, Alison managed communications for the Chief Scientist and co-led the Gemini project. Previous roles at Google included Product Marketing Manager for Google Fiber, focusing on creative communications, and Internal Communications Manager, where programs were launched to engage and inform employees. Prior to Google, Alison served as Program Editor at The Economist, crafting award-winning content programs and managing a substantial portfolio in Asia. Additional experience includes strategic communications consultancy at APCO Worldwide, advising Fortune 500 clients on policy changes in China, and due diligence reporting as a Senior Investment Consultant at Pacific Strategies & Assessments. Alison holds dual MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School.
