Allan Griffiths possesses extensive experience in the telecommunications and surveying sectors, with a career spanning over a decade. Beginning as a Hydrographic Surveyor at GEMS International NV from August 2010 to May 2012, Allan transitioned to Allseas as a contractor in hydrographic surveying from May 2012 to April 2013. Following this role, Allan held positions at ASN as a Senior Cable Route Engineer from April 2013 to October 2017 and at Vodafone as Principal Engineer for Submarine Systems from November 2017 to July 2022. Most recently, Allan serves as Technical Program Manager for Submarine Cables at Google since June 2025, after a brief tenure as Head of Delivery for HVDC Cables at National Grid from January 2024 to May 2025, where Allan also worked as Senior Marine Operations Manager for HVDC. Allan is an alumnus of Newcastle University, graduating with a BSc in Surveying and Mapping Science in 2010.
