Sr. Quant UX Researcher

Allen Lin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user experience research and software engineering. Allen began a career as a Software Engineer Intern at Esri, developing demos for the ArcGIS JavaScript API, before undertaking a PhD Research Internship in the Human-Computer Interaction group at Microsoft. Subsequently, Allen served as a Quantitative User Experience Research Intern at Google, where a notable achievement included the design of an NLP-based interactive machine learning tool for analyzing user feedback. Currently, Allen holds the position of Senior Quant UX Researcher at Google, focusing on Privacy and Data Consent Experience. Allen's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science with an emphasis on Human-Computer Interaction from Northwestern University, as well as a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Minnesota, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Remote Sensing from Wuhan University.
