Allison Tompkins

Allison Tompkins has extensive experience in event management, recruiting, and program development. As Director of Events at the Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport Hotel, Allison led a team of 25 in planning and executing over 450 events annually for major clients including General Motors and Pfizer. Subsequent roles included Manager of Program Development at Infrared Experience Marketing, where high-profile events for clients like 20th Century Fox were developed. Allison transitioned to recruiting with positions at Amazon and Google, focusing on engineering recruitment and program management within the Site Reliability Engineering team and overseeing significant event operations, including Google I/O. Additionally, Allison volunteered as a coordinator at Casa do Caminho Orphanage in Brazil, mentoring children. Allison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Environment and Design from Michigan State University.
