Alok began as a Senior Software Engineer at Newgen Software Technologies Limited from June 2011 to March 2015, followed by a similar role at Snapdeal until March 2017. Alok transitioned to Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, serving until November 2019, and then advanced to Goldman Sachs as Vice President of Engineering from August 2020 to June 2022.
