Alvis Hsu

Alvis Hsu has extensive experience in hardware engineering, with a focus on various computing platforms. At Dell EMC from December 2018 to June 2019, Alvis worked as a Portfolio System Engineer specializing in x86-based servers, demonstrating expertise in Linux operations and thermal and mechanical design. Currently, as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Google since June 2019, Alvis leads the Chromebook hardware reference design on Mediatek platforms, overseeing the design, debugging, and delivery of reference design kits while collaborating with System on Chip (SoC) and chip partners. Prior experience at ADLINK Technology from November 2011 to December 2018 included leadership roles in developing industrial PC products and high-power PCIe systems. Alvis Hsu holds a Master's degree in Automatic Control and Electronics with a GPA of 4.0 from National Tsing Hua University, where a Bachelor's degree in Power Mechanical Engineering was also earned.
