Amir Nazar is a seasoned electrical engineer with over two decades of experience in the field. Beginning as an Electrical Design Engineer at Sazeh from 2001 to 2008, Amir developed expertise in power distribution networks, ETAP, and system design. At Fluor from November 2008 to May 2014, Amir specialized in network analysis, including power system and harmonic calculations, and was involved in various electrical design tasks such as cable sizing and lighting calculations. Serving as Principal Electrical Engineer at McDermott International Inc. from June 2014 to May 2019, Amir led electrical engineering efforts on numerous onshore and offshore projects. Currently, as a Data Center Electrical Engineer at Google since June 2019, Amir is focused on developing complex electrical and controls infrastructure from design to commissioning.
