Modem firmware engineer

Amit Deokar is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in modem software development and telecommunications. Amit began a career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington from September 2011 to September 2012. Subsequently, Amit joined Ericsson as a Network Engineer - Svcs Software Intern from September 2012 to May 2013, followed by a five-year tenure at Qualcomm, where roles included LTE Modem Software Engineer and NR-5G L1 Modem Software Development Engineer. Currently, Amit serves as a Modem Firmware Engineer at Google, starting in October 2023. Amit holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from Savitribai Phule Pune University, a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California San Diego, and a Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, achieving impressive GPAs of 3.89/4.0 and 3.75 respectively.
