Andi Gutmans is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in database and analytics services. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager of Databases at Google since May 2020, Andi oversees a comprehensive portfolio including Spanner, Bigtable, and AlloyDB. Prior to Google, Andi held the position of Vice President of Analytics at Amazon Web Services from March 2016 to May 2020, managing key analytics offerings such as Amazon Redshift and Amazon Glue. As the co-founder and CEO of Zend by Perforce from October 2003 to October 2015, Andi transformed the company into a profitable enterprise focused on application runtime subscriptions. Additional experience includes strategic partnerships at Rogue Wave Software and leadership roles within the Israeli Air Force and various open-source foundations. Andi holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
