Andre Furtado is a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Google, currently overseeing the Measurement & Monitoring for Google Business Messages and leading efforts in Android Messages. With a rich background in software engineering, they previously served as a Senior Software Engineer in the Android Messages team and held various significant roles at Microsoft, including Senior Program Manager for Bing APIs. Andre began their career developing a .NET-based methodology and has been actively involved in mentoring and training throughout their career. They earned a PhD in Computer Software Engineering from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
