Andrew Fleischer

Andrew Fleischer serves as the Chairman of the Harrington School of Communication and Media Executive Advisory Board at the University of Rhode Island since January 2025, following a term as a Board Member from April 2021 to January 2025. Fleischer has significant experience in the media and advertising industries, having worked at Google since June 2023 as the Head of Industry for Education, where leadership is focused on transforming higher education through digital solutions. Previous roles at Google included Account Executive for Media Partnerships and managing key accounts in retail and education technology. Prior to Google, Fleischer held positions at iHeartMedia, starting as a Sales Associate and later becoming an Account Executive in the Brand Integration Group. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from the University of Rhode Island and a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
