Andrew Gallagher is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in image analysis, computer vision, and machine learning. As a Visiting Research Scientist at Cornell University, Gallagher supervised advanced research, resulting in over 10 publications in top-tier venues. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at TaggPic, Inc., Gallagher leads the engineering team in developing cutting-edge technology for landmark recognition without GPS. At Google, Gallagher contributes to computer vision and machine learning research and, more recently, has taken on roles as an AI Research Engineer and Research Engineer at Google DeepMind. Previously, Gallagher held the position of Sr. Principal Research Scientist at Eastman Kodak, where Gallagher developed algorithms for image enhancement that have been widely utilized in various imaging products. Gallagher holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Geneva College.
