Andrew Johnston

Andrew Johnston is a Senior Security Engineer at Google, bringing extensive experience in cybersecurity and consultancy to their role. Previously serving as a Lead Technologist and Red Team Operator at Booz Allen Hamilton, they co-founded Recluse Laboratories in 2018 and held consulting positions at Mandiant and Mitiga. They also trained at the FBI from 2015 to 2017 and founded Johnston Consulting, focusing on affordable web services for small businesses. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and a dual Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, both from Fordham University, where they currently serve as an Adjunct Professor.
