Andrew Rector is a Cybersecurity professional with over a decade of experience. They served as a Digital Forensics Tutor and PACDF Lab Manager at Bloomsburg University from 2013 to 2015, where they guided students and conducted independent research. Andrew worked at Mandiant in various senior roles, including Detection Lead and Principal Consultant, before becoming the Senior Manager of Managed Defense at Google in 2022, where they lead a team of Detection Engineers. Currently, they also volunteer at Mission Bit, teaching web design and mentoring students aspiring to enter the cybersecurity field. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Digital Forensics from Bloomsburg University.
