Andy Traber has extensive experience in engineering and site reliability, with a focus on software and hardware design. At Google, from July 2018 to October 2022, Andy served as both a Site Reliability Engineer and a Staff Site Reliability Engineer. Prior to Google, Andy worked at ACP Advanced Circuit Pursuit AG as a Design Engineer, contributing to the design and synthesis of a RISC-V ISA multi-core CPU platform for a Cellular IoT System-on-Chip, along with software development for related components. Earlier roles include serving as a Junior IP-Core Engineer at Cablecom GmbH and a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at ETH Zurich, where research focused on ultra-low-power SoC and CPU design, complemented by experience as a Teaching Assistant at ETH Zurich. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnologie from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich.
