Anish Shenoy

Anish Shenoy is a Staff Software Engineer at Google since August 2021, serving as Tech Lead for Shopping Ads Relevance. Prior to this role, Anish worked as a Data Scientist at Intel Corporation from July 2017 to August 2021, focusing on numerical modeling, computational simulations, and the development of correction algorithms for virtual photomasks, utilizing predictive modeling and machine learning for data analysis. Anish also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign while completing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from August 2012 to May 2017. Additional experience includes a Computer Vision Internship at Caterpillar Inc. in 2016, where machine learning and computer vision algorithms were implemented for equipment failure detection, and a Summer Research Fellowship at UC Berkeley in 2011, focusing on multilayer glass microfluidic arrays for bioassays. Anish holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) with honors in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
