Anne Rooney

Anne Rooney has extensive experience in planning and communications, beginning as an Associate at Tom Phillips and Associates Limited, where planning advice was provided to diverse clients from 2005 to 2011. Following this role, Anne worked at Tesco Ireland as Town Planning Manager, then took on multiple roles including Government Affairs Manager and Head of Public Affairs, focusing on strategic planning and government relationships. From September 2015 to February 2016, Anne served as the Director of Communications for the Construction Industry Federation, managing communication strategies and stakeholder engagement. Currently, since February 2016, Anne holds the position of Head of Public Policy and Government Relations at Google EMEA HQ, overseeing policy agendas and regulatory engagement. Anne Rooney holds a Master’s Degree in Regional and Urban Planning from University College Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Geography from University College Cork.
