Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer on Borg Node

Anthony Ruhier is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in network engineering and site reliability engineering. Beginning as an Apprentice Software Engineer at Trinaps from March 2014 to September 2017, Anthony designed micro-services to automate redundant processes for an information system. Following this, a role at Scaleway as a Network DevOps Engineer lasted from February 2018 to April 2019, focusing on automating the network for an international cloud provider. Anthony then advanced to Google, serving as a Network Engineer on CorpNet from June 2019 to January 2022, where software and automation were implemented for corporate infrastructure. Currently, as a Software Engineer in the Site Reliability Engineering team on Borg Node at Google since January 2022, Anthony manages the stability and performance of Google's core machinery, overseeing approximately 3.5 million machines. Anthony holds a DUT in Informatique from IUT Belfort-Montbéliard and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard.
