Antonio Gulli

Antonio Gulli is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and web search infrastructure. Currently serving as Senior Director and Distinguished Engineer in the CTO Office at Google since August 2016, Gulli has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Engineering focused on AI and cloud technologies. Gulli's previous positions include Vice President for Elsevier at RELX Group, Principal Development Manager at Microsoft, and CTO for Europe and UK at IAC. Gulli is also a board member at C the Signs, advocating for early cancer detection through machine learning. As an author with Packt, Gulli has contributed to science culture awareness through writings on deep learning. Gulli holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Università di Pisa and is recognized for pioneering contributions to web information retrieval.
