Arun Singla

Arun Singla is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering, particularly in cloud services and data management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Google since April 2019, Arun leads efforts to safeguard Google Ads by overseeing Ad Safety engineering teams across various platforms. Prior roles include Head of Engineering at Snowflake, where Arun contributed to building a premier cloud data warehouse, and Director of Engineering at Elementum, focusing on supply chain optimization technology. Earlier, Arun held leadership positions at Cloudera and Microsoft Corporation, developing key infrastructure and capabilities for their services. Arun obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
