Arvind Govindarajan

Arvind Govindarajan is a skilled software engineer with experience in both full stack development and machine learning. At UMass Amherst Center for Data Science, a skeletal framework was developed using Bootstrap, Flask, and Redis for an online object detection model as part of the DS4CG program for 'The Nature Conservancy'. Following that, a role as a student researcher at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. involved building a machine learning pipeline that combined an unsupervised neural attention-based aspect extraction model and VADER sentiment analysis to analyze product features and sentiment in reviews, with findings presented to data scientists through visualizations. Currently, Arvind serves as a software engineer at Google since June 2021.
