Ashin Shanly

Ashin Shanly is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning, data engineering, and cybersecurity. Ashin served as a Machine Vision Research Scientist Intern at TCS Research & Innovation Lab, where research in object segmentation using LiDAR significantly enhanced segmentation accuracy for forestry applications. At Oracle, Ashin developed terabyte-scale Apache Spark data pipelines on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and designed a fault-tolerant architecture capable of processing billions of records daily. Currently, Ashin is a Software Engineer III at Google. Prior experience includes an internship as a Cybersecurity Analyst at EY, focusing on penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. Ashin holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur.
