Ashley Friedman has extensive experience in policy and government affairs within the technology sector. As Vice President of Policy at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) from November 2015 to September 2021, significant contributions were made toward advancing industry interests. Subsequently, Friedman held the position of Senior Manager for Government Affairs and Public Policy at Google from September 2021 to May 2025, focusing on platforms and devices. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Advisor to the Deputy Secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce and as an International Trade Specialist in the Office of Latin America and the Caribbean.
