Ashley Smith

Ashley Smith is a seasoned professional in user experience research and product insights, with extensive experience in leading user research initiatives and teams across major technology companies. After obtaining a Master's Certificate in User Centered Design from the University of Washington, Ashley held various roles, including Project Management/Business Development at Jet Parts Engineering and Strategy Team Project Manager at Hornall Anderson Design Works. Ashley contributed to Microsoft as a User Experience Researcher from 2008 to 2013 and later excelled at Spotify in multiple leadership capacities, ultimately serving as Senior Director of Product Insights for the Freemium Consumer Business. Most recently, Ashley has transitioned to the role of User Research Director for Search at Google, while also owning a zero-waste shop focused on sustainability in Stockholm.
