Ashwin Mukundan is an experienced firmware and software engineer with a strong background in storage solutions and NVMe technology. Mukundan began a career at Seagate Technology as an intern in 2006, followed by positions at ServerEngines from 2007 to 2010 and Emulex as a Senior Engineer from 2010 to 2012. Significant contributions to Samsung Semiconductor as a Senior Staff Engineer from 2016 to 2018 included work on the world's first NVMe SSD, the Samsung XS1715. Additionally, Mukundan served as a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services from 2018 to 2024 and currently holds a Software Engineer position at Google since January 2025. Ashwin Mukundan holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BE in Telecommunication Engineering from R. V. College of Engineering in Bangalore.
