Ashwin Murthy

Ashwin Murthy is a Principal Engineer in AI Infrastructure at Google Cloud, specializing in large language models. Prior to this role, they worked at Uber, contributing to the development of a globally distributed transactional datastore and a cloud-native parallel file system for self-driving cars. Earlier in their career at Microsoft, Ashwin was a technical lead for Azure's distributed software load balancer and was involved in various infrastructure projects. Ashwin holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where they graduated with a 4.0 GPA, and they are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University.
