Assaf Romm

Assaf Romm has a diverse academic and professional background, with experience in economics and data science. Notable positions include serving as a Staff Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist at Uber, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Stanford University, and an Assistant Professor of Economics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Assaf started a career in software development, having worked at companies such as Cellglide, NDS Technologies, and MDG before transitioning to data science and academia. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Math, Economics, and Amirim Ruach, an MA in Economics focusing on Game Theory from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard Business School. Recently, Assaf has taken on the role of Visiting Faculty Researcher at Google.
