Axel Reichmann is currently the Country Lead DE for Google Maps Partnerships, where they partner with cities, municipalities, and NGOs to leverage Google data and AI capabilities for climate action plans. Axel previously worked at Google as an Industry Manager for Retail and in various roles including Business Development for Google Assistant and Account Manager for Retail between 2014 and 2018. Prior to their tenure at Google, Axel gained experience in International New Media Business Development at Gruner + Jahr from 2009 to 2010. Axel holds a Master’s degree from Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, which they completed in 2011.
