Balint Miklos

Principal Software Enginneer

Balint Miklos is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in both research and industry. From January 2004 to September 2005, Balint worked part-time at infowing AG, implementing and designing content delivery systems for 2G mobile phones. Following this role, Balint served as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich from November 2006 to October 2010, focusing on computational geometry and computer graphics. Balint also completed a software engineering internship at Autoform Engineering in early 2006, contributing to curvature estimation and surface quality evaluation tools for metal sheet forming simulation software. Since February 2011, Balint has held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Google, leading efforts in machine learning functionalities and supporting projects such as Google Lens and Google Assistant. Balint's educational background includes a Master of Science and PhD in Computer Science from ETH Zürich, as well as a research stint at Stanford University.
