Bela Patel

Bela Patel is currently focused on strategy and operations in recruiting at Google, having held multiple roles within the organization, including Executive Recruiter and Head of Operations for Talent Engagement. Prior to their tenure at Google, Bela was a Search Consultant at On-Ramps, where they partnered with nonprofit organizations to address talent needs. Bela also contributed to education as a Corps Member with Teach For America, chairing the High School Science department and developing a curriculum. They gained early experience in digital publishing as a Digital Press Assistant at the University of Michigan Press, where they worked on significant projects like the Google Book Project. Bela is pursuing a Master of Science in Education in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania while holding a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
