Ben Anderson is an experienced software engineer with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Carleton College. Anderson worked at Microsoft as a Senior Software Design Engineer from July 2005 to May 2013, contributing to tools for client-side web developers, including the Visual Studio inspection tools for Windows 8 and the Internet Explorer F12 developer tools, as well as projects like the Popfly Game Creator and various C++ libraries. Since May 2013, Anderson has been a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where involvement includes the full launch of the new Google Maps desktop web browsing experience and the development of the labeling stack for the application.
